Baguio Zen Center Philippines Zendo (zen meditation hall)

At the Baguio Zen Center we view introducing Zen and Mindfulness meditation to the public as a service we offer to the community, regardless of whether or not you decide to continue after your first visit. Our teaching and methods are focused on two principles: providing a venue for personal spiritual development and familiarizing people with standardized Zen training practices, protocols and etiquette.

Our center is located in The Tea House, ICM House of Prayer, #4 C.M. Recto Road, Baguio City, Northern Philippines.  As we sit in our zendo we can feel very intimate with the nature around us; it stands within the secluded grounds amidst Benguet Pine trees, flowering plants and a natural spring pond.

Welcoming diversity, the practice of Zen is available here to people of any or no religious affiliation, race, nationality, class, gender, sexual orientation, age, and physical ability. The Zen way is open to all who have a sincere desire to try it.

We offer Zen for Beginners Seminars on most Sundays of the month from 2-5pm. Contact us to reserve a slot and scheduled orientation seminars.

Accommodations are available at the ICM House of Prayer for those who participate in our 2-day weekend Zen Retreat for Beginners.

The introductory retreat is an experiential and visceral plunge into guided Zen practice for the enthusiastic beginner. Attending a Zen retreat for beginners is often a great way to jump start your practice, or to deepen an ongoing one. The next retreat for Beginners is scheduled on July 7-8, 2018.

More information is available at this page for our programs: BEGINNER’S MIND ZEN RETREAT

      Thank you in advance,

      Dr. Rudi Tabora
